“And God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.”
— Genesis 1:31
Before modern science spoke about circadian rhythms or structured water, God had already written His design into creation. This unit study helps children discover how His creation all point back to His wisdom and care.
The bible tells us everything we need in order to support our health.
True wellness comes from living in harmony with the way God designed creation to work.
Circadian Rhythm: how God’s light cues set sleep, focus, and mood
Grounding: why connecting to the earth calms the nervous system
Structured Water: how living water supports cellular flow and energy
Breath & Nitric Oxide: why nasal breathing boosts oxygen delivery
Whole Foods: God’s design for nourishment and digestion
Joy, Gratitude, Worship: how words and music shift the brain and body
All concepts are taught simply for kids (Grades 1–6) with Deeper Dives sections for middle & high school-aged students.
Your student will explore topics such as:
Many of us, myself and my family included, have had our share of disconnecting from the Lord and His design for us. This unit study easily redirects one back to His sacred ‘recipe’ for wholeness.
- Erica, mom of 9 year old
It's like a devotional & health study all in one!
- Crystal, mom of 15 and 8 year olds
This books isn’t just for children but is so valuable and educational for adults as well! It lays out so clearly the tools we all know and use in a Biblical light. The scripture is my favorite part to share with my children (and husband) and why it’s so important to us as a family. It’s a beautiful study unit! We own both curriculums from Amy, such a blessing!
- Jordan, mom of 13, 11, 5 & 3 year olds
A Bible + science unit covering circadian rhythm, grounding, structured water, breath science, and more—through the lens of Genesis.
This unit is written for 1st–6th grade with "Deep Dives" sections for expanded study for teens.
Most families complete the lesson reading and reflection questions in 15-25 minutes. Amount of time spent on activities will vary depending on the activity and how many of the suggested activities your family choose to complete.
Yes. Every lesson is grounded in Scripture, pointing kids toward God as their Creator and the One who designed every healing rhythm in their bodies.

Biblical Healing Tools is a short, focused unit study that teaches kids a handful of simple, "free," tools God has gifted us and has weaved into creation to support our health. It covers topics like sunlight rhythms, grounding, breathwork, gratitude, and nourishment and how they are all connected to Scripture and explained in kid-friendly science.
Growing Up Nourished, on the other hand, is a full nutrition curriculum. It covers topics such as:
Macronutrients and micronutrients
Digestion
Hydration
Mindful eating
Making balanced meals
Labels, ingredients, and practical life skills
So while Biblical Healing Tools does cover whole foods and hydration as two lessons, it's taking a slightly different angle on the conversation. For example, in the whole foods lesson in Biblical Healing Tools, kids are presented with each of the food groups and where they are mentioned in Scripture. They also learn about the Fruit of the Spirit.
Both pair beautifully together! The unit study introduces gentle daily rhythms, while the full curriculum builds long-term understanding of how God designed their bodies to thrive.
