Beets are a high source of folate, vitamin c, fiber, and essential minerals such as potassium and manganese. Also provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification support. They are a great way to love on your liver!
Don’t care for beets? Sneak beets into the diet through a good ol’ fashioned burger. For mine, I use sliced baked sweet potatoes as buns and don’t miss the bun one bit! For a side had steamed broccoli {covered with grass-fed butter and Celtic sea salt} and garden-fresh tomatoes from a sweet neighbor.
